A video to get you started



There are 2 ways of uploading backups of your WordPress site to Dropbox:


Step 1: Go to BlogVault website and sign up using your email ID. 


Step 2: On the BlogVault site listing page, select the website of your choice.

 



Step 3: Select the arrow in the Backup section of the site details page.

 




Step 4:  It'll take you to the Site Detail page. In this page, select the Upload to Dropbox button from the Backup section to upload the latest version of your WordPress site to your Dropbox account.



OR


Step 3: In the Site Details page, click on the Show All Backups button and it will take you to a timeline of the last 365 days of backup versions of your site all or any of which you can choose to upload to Dropbox account.




Step 4: Click Upload.

 


  • By authorizing BlogVault, you are permitting it to create a new folder in your Dropbox, and upload backup files.

 

Step 5: Once you click on Continue, you will be asked to sign in to your Dropbox account and click on Allow.

 


Step 6: Choose the backup version you would like to upload to Dropbox. 



Step 7: Click on Upload. The upload process will run in the background even if you close this tab.


  • Once the upload process is complete, you will be notified of it by email.


Note: Once the process is complete, you will be able to see the backup file (in the form of a .zip), in your Dropbox. To access these backup files, you will have to navigate to the Apps folder in your Dropbox account and click on BlogVault in this folder.
