By default MalCare scans WordPress folders. But you can add non-WP folders. Here’s how:

Step 1: Select the website of your choice from the Site Listing page. In next page, there is a section called Security. In that section, click on the arrow.

Step 2: In the next page, you will see the Total Files that were scanned. Click on "View All"

Step 4: In the next page, scroll down to the the folders that are marked in red are being skipped by MalCare while scanning. Select the non-WordPress folder.

Step 5: MalCare will tell you about why the folder is being ignored. Click on OK.

Step 5: Click Add.

Step 6: That’s how you add a non-WP folder so that MalCare scans it too.
